We are pleased to announce that our client, Corvid Technologies, has been acquired by Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI). Founded in 2004, Corvid is located in Mooresville, North Carolina with offices in Arlington, Virginia and Huntsville, Alabama. The company specializes in high fidelity computational physics analysis and supports the US defense markets and automotive industries.

Corvid has a diverse customer base that includes contracts with Redstone Arsenal, the ARL at Aberdeen, Maryland, the AFRL at Eglin, NSWCs at Dahlgren and China Lake, DARPA, the Joint Program Office for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles in Virginia and the Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center in Michigan, among others.

More than 66% of Corvid staff hold advanced degrees in engineering sciences with over one third holding PhDs. Significant intellectual property was transferred with the sale to CNI including the Velodyne, Caveman and RavenCFD software applications.

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc., a federally chartered corporation, is wholly owned by Chickasaw Nation.
